Design Mill Attends Augmented World Expo 2015

More than 3,000 tech professionals attended 2015 Augmented World Expo (AWE 2015) at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Silicon Valley on June 8-10, 2015.  In attendance from Design Mill, Inc. was CEO, Nathan Greiner, who was given the opportunity to take part in workshops and interactive demos from leading companies and contributors in augmented and virtual reality.  Industry leaders provided AR and VR experiences and talks with emphasis on the way in which technology has the potential to improve people’s lives and careers.

Other Design Mill staff members were able to take part in the AR event remotely via Beam and chatted with Google Project Tango and many others about where the Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality industries are headed.

“The current AR industry growth is unprecedented with both small and large companies now engaging with opportunities in the AR space,” says Nathan Greiner, CEO of Design Mill.  Greiner also noted that it was great to get a glimpse of the leaps in technology in terms of software and also hardware with several new wearable product releases at the event.

Design Mill was pleased to find a great number of innovative companies to collaborate with including fellow sponsor members from The Augmented Reality for Enterprise Alliance (AREASM). Greiner is looking forward to building partnerships with other businesses in an effort to further strengthen DMI’s pioneering integration capabilities and services in the AR and VR fields.
